Be a good role model – Behaviour Management

When considering how to handle and improve challenging behaviours in the classroom, it’s not enough to simply teach your class about positive behaviour. Like many things in life, you have to show them how it’s done!

For example, if you want your class to keep quiet, don’t invite Mrs Henderson over to have a chat about Bake Off, or any other TV show you’re watching.

Children learn by example, so it’s important to be a good role model and demonstrate what good behaviour looks like in school.
