#JusticeForPrimarySchoolTeachersinLAGOSSTATE
With the greatest displeasure and rejection of inequality treatment of us, all PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS irrespective of cadre,step and nomenclature,we hereby wishes to express our dissatisfaction over the recent payment of additional #35000 palliative that was announced to the whole world and promised by our able Governor Mr BABAJIDE OLUSOLA SANWO-OLU in the recent news cap.
As responsible citizens of this country and an enlightened teachers of the primary sector of our educational system in Lagos State. We are writing to notify your office Mr Governor sir that what we received totally negates the promise you made to us sir while our other colleagues in secondary schools and at other parastatals like got the full #35000 bonus while we at the primary school got #20,000 as seen in our salaries.
The promise according to the letter signed by head of service stated that all pubic servants will receive end of the year bonus of 50% of basic salary and non taxable wage of #35000 as agreed to be paid by Mr Governor but to our surprise the case was different as we got #20000 as wage award (palliative) as against what was announced on the radio.
